Making Dotonbori a world-class tourist destination
With the goal of making Dotonbori a world-class tourist destination, the Dotonbori Night Culture Creative Council was founded by the Dotonbori Store Association, JTB Co. Ltd, and the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau, in collaboration with local private businesses. Looking ahead to the 2025 Osaka / Kansai Expo, we strive to enhance tourism and revitalize the whole Kansai area, beginning with Dotonbori, always with a focus on “Night”, “Food”, and “Entertainment”.

Implementing area management aimed at increasing the value of Dotonbori as a tourist destination. As “Dotonbori Night Park” we work to increase the attraction of the area, focusing on the three factors of “Night”, “Food” and “Entertainment”, and to promote Dotonbori’s evolution into a Smart Tourism area. We seek to become the model case for tourism activity and advanced tourism experiences in the Kansai area.
